The German International University (GIU)

German International University (GIU) is a German University operating within the framework of Cultural Agreements between the Federal Republic of Germany and the Arab Republic of Egypt. English is the teaching language. The German International University, GIU is a German cultural institution headquartered in the New Administrative Capital. The establishment of the GIU is in accordance with the Presidential Decree No. 55 of 2019 in light of the signed agreement in Berlin 29/10/2018, and the Cultural Agreement concluded between the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany on October 16, 1960, and on the basis of the Cultural Agreement concluded between the Federal Republic of Germany and the Arab Republic of Egypt on 4 July 1984.
