Dual degrees agreement with Purdue University, West Lafayette (PWL) in Electrical and Computer Engineering: PWL is ranked as #4 as best Engineering schools in U.S. Newsin 2021
The agreement is a dual degree model utilizing credit transfer, such that successful candidates meeting the conditions will obtain two degrees: EUI degree and PWL degree. The agreement works as follows:
EUI students study their first four (as Engineering is five years) years at EUI
EUI students will study four courses online (“PWL Blended/online Courses”) taught by PWL faculty with EUI Faculty support. Blended courses fees are not included in the fees of EUI and will be determined by Purdue University.
Successful students meeting PWL requirements will study their senior year at PWL campus as international students. If the student spends the last year at Purdue University, fees for that year will be that of Purdue University and according to the fees determined by the University.
EUI will establish its degrees to be in close alignment with the Partner degrees in terms of depth, breadth and rigor.
To be considered for admission at PWL, students shall meet the following academic criteria:
EUI CGPA of 3.0 or above (exclusive of PWL Blended Courses)
GPA of 3.0 or above in all PWL Blended Courses
Professional Master’s in Information Security (PMIS) with Purdue University, West Lafayette (PWL): PWL is ranked as #6 in Cyber Security in U.S. News in 2021. This agreement is eligible for both EUI Computing and Information Sciences and Computer Engineering students meeting PWL admission/acceptance requirements. Successful candidate will obtain EUI bachelor degree and PWL Professional Master’s degree in Cyber Security. The agreement works as follows:
Students must satisfactorily complete 10 Purdue Information Security Courses.
Students interested in the master’s degree must take 4 Blended Courses taught by Purdue while being at EUI. These courses will be counted towards the Bachelor degree from EUI (and later the Master’s degree from PWL), and will then take 6 Master’s level courses at Purdue Campus upon obtaining Bachelor from EUI. Blended courses fees are not included in the fees of EUI and will be determined by Purdue University.
To be considered for admission into the Bachelor/Master’s program under this Agreement, EUI students shall meet the following academic criteria:
EUI CGPA of 3.0 or above for the courses taken at EUI prior to applying to the dual BS/MS- program
A GPA of 3.5 or above for all Computer Science and Computer Engineering Purdue courses

Dual Bachelor degree with the Faculty of Computing and Information Sciences with University of Minnesota Twin Cities (ranked #29).
The agreement is a dual degree model based on credit transfer so that the successful students who meet the criteria obtain two certificates: a certificate from Egypt University of Informatics and another from University of Minnesota Twin Cities. The agreement works as follows:
EUI students study the first 3 years (as Computing and Information Sciences is 4 years) at EUI.
During this period, EUI student will study from 1 to 4 blended online courses from University of Minnesota taught by University of Minnesota specialized faculty with EUI faculty support in accordance to a study plan agreed on between both parties. Blended courses fees are not included in the fees of EUI and will be determined by the University of Minnesota.
EUI will establish its degree to be in close alignment with the Partners’ degrees in term of depth, breadth and rigor.
To be considered for admission at University of Minnesota, students shall meet the following academic criteria:
EUI CGPA of 3.0 or above for the course the student studies during the first 2 years (exclusive of University of Minnesota blended courses)
Student has to apply to join the agreement (to attend the last year at the University of Minnesota), subject to the acceptance of the University of Minnesota. If the student spends the last year at the University of Minnesota, fees for that year will be that of the University of Minnesota fees and according to the fees determined by the University.
