A cooperation agreement between “Future University in Egypt” and “Schlumberger Egypt” for training in “Petroleum Engineering”

In continuation of the scientific approach that Future University in Egypt is taking under the auspices of Khaled Azazy, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, which aims to create a new generation of graduates qualified to scientifically enter the labor market, a joint cooperation agreement was signed between Future University in Egypt and Schlumberger Egypt, in order to provide a training program aimed primarily Qualifying and training the students of the Petroleum Engineering Department at the College of Engineering and Technology by employing the various experiences and capabilities that the company enjoys in this field.
The signing ceremony of this agreement took place via Zoom technology, in the presence of Eng. Tarek El Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Eng. Karim Badawy, President of Schlumberger Egypt, Sudan and Eastern Mediterranean, Dr. Ebada Sarhan, President of Future University in Egypt , and Dr. Hisham Arafat, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees and previous Minister of Transport.
Dr. Hisham Arafat stated that the importance of this agreement lies in the fact that it comes within the framework of the trend towards distinguished qualification of the human element and the development of young cadres, which is the aspect that Future University in Egypt is keen on, but rather it comes at the forefront of its priorities during the current stage.
Dr. Ebada Sarhan pointed out that this step on the part of the university constitutes a major development in its ambitious program in order to contribute in a practical way to the modernization of the Egyptian industry and its launch by reducing the gap between the academic and practical aspects and linking the scientific aspects with the application and knowledge of the needs of the labor market and the acquisition of many students Of the skills through experiencing the applied reality, which is the modern scientific method applied in all major educational institutions around the world.
